Celebrating Aging: Recommendations for Successful Aging

Youth is seen as a virtue, but many say that old age is just plain
sad, and undesirable. We can (we need to) change our views of aging
to improve our lives.

Please join us in this interesting presentation with Joaquin
Anguera, a former professor at San Diego State University,
who has a Doctorate in Gerontology, and a former HoSSD
president. He will help us to understand this topic better
and encourage us to become part of the solution.
In discussions with him, we have agreed that a good way to
approach the topic is by having two different,
but complementary, sessions:: an introductory, general one,
presenting the main issues; and a second one, more
personal and practical, focused on achieving successful
aging.
